Description

An incredibly simple 3 ingredient brownies recipe that transforms ripe bananas into a delicious dessert in just one bowl.


Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas (about 1 cup mashed)
  • 120 grams (1/2 cup) creamy peanut butter
  • 50 grams (1/2 cup) cocoa powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a 15 cm x 15 cm (7 inch x 7 inch) brownie pan with parchment paper.
  2. Mash the ripe bananas until silky smooth in a large bowl.
  3. Add the creamy peanut butter and stir until smooth.
  4. Sift in the cocoa powder and mix until fully combined.
  5. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan and spread it out evenly.
  6. Bake for 22 to 30 minutes, until the top looks firm and a toothpick comes out mostly clean.
  7. Let the brownies cool completely before slicing.

Notes

For a fun twist, you can add chocolate chips or nuts. Serve warm with ice cream or drizzle chocolate sauce on top.
