Delicious, festive donut holes made quickly in the air fryer, perfect for the holiday season.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- ¼ tsp ground nutmeg
- ½ cup milk (whole or plant-based)
- 1 large egg
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- In another bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
- Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir gently until combined.
- Fill silicone donut hole molds halfway with the batter.
- Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Place the molds in the air fryer and cook for 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly, then roll in powdered sugar.
Notes
These donut holes are best served warm. Enjoy with cocoa or tea!
