A delicious and quick Alice Springs Chicken recipe that your family will love, prepared all in one pan and ready in about 30 minutes.


Ingredients

  • 4 Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts
  • 1/2 Cup Honey Mustard
  • 1 Cup Mushrooms, Sliced
  • 1/2 Cup Onions, Diced
  • 4 Slices of Bacon, Cooked and Crumbled
  • 1 Cup Cheddar Cheese, Shredded
  • Salt and Pepper to Taste
  • 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Season the chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sear the chicken breasts until golden brown, about 5 minutes per side.
  4. Transfer the chicken to a baking dish and sauté the onions and mushrooms in the same skillet for about 4-5 minutes until soft.
  5. Spread honey mustard over each chicken breast, then top with the sautéed onion and mushroom mixture.
  6. Sprinkle crumbled bacon and shredded cheddar cheese over the top.
  7. Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes until chicken is cooked through and cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Serve hot with your favorite sides.
