Description

Delicious almond croissants that are quick to prepare and perfect for brunch or dessert, made with day-old croissants and sweet almond cream.


Ingredients

  • Day-old croissants
  • Almond cream
  • Powdered sugar
  • Sliced almonds

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the day-old croissants in half lengthwise.
  3. Slather almond cream inside each half.
  4. Spread a thin layer of almond cream on the outer sides of the croissants.
  5. Top with sliced almonds.
  6. Place croissants on a baking sheet and bake for about 10 minutes, until golden.
  7. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
  8. Let cool slightly and serve warm.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for about 2-3 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F for 5-7 minutes.
