Description
A delicious and cozy Apple Chai Latte that comes together in about 15 minutes, perfect for chilly evenings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup apple cider
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 chai tea bags (or 2 teaspoons loose chai tea)
- 1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
- 1–2 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional, adjust to taste)
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon (optional, for garnish)
- Cinnamon stick or apple slice (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- In a small pot, combine the apple cider and water. Heat over medium until it starts to bring to a gentle simmer, stirring occasionally for about 2-3 minutes.
- Once it’s simmering, toss in your chai tea bags (or loose chai). Let that steep for 3-5 minutes.
- After steeping, remove the tea bags or strain out the loose tea, then pour in the milk.
- If you like it sweet, stir in the honey or maple syrup.
- Heat gently until warmed through, avoiding boiling.
- Pour the Apple Chai Latte into your favorite mugs and garnish with a sprinkle of ground cinnamon or a cinnamon stick/apple slice.
