Description

A delightful no-bake Apple Valentine Tart, perfect for special occasions or everyday treats. Filled with sweet spiced apples and topped with a smooth custard.


Ingredients

  • 1 ready-made pie crust
  • 34 apples, peeled and sliced
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Cinnamon (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place the pie crust in a tart pan, pressing it into the sides and bottom.
  3. In a bowl, combine sliced apples with lemon juice, cinnamon, and half of the powdered sugar. Toss to coat evenly.
  4. Arrange the apple mixture on the pie crust.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, remaining powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  6. Pour the egg mixture over the apples evenly.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the apples are tender and the crust is golden.
  8. Let cool before serving.

Serve warm, at room temperature, or chilled. Pairs well with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
