- 1 ready-made pie crust
- 3–4 apples, peeled and sliced
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Cinnamon (to taste)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Place the pie crust in a tart pan, pressing it into the sides and bottom.
- In a bowl, combine sliced apples with lemon juice, cinnamon, and half of the powdered sugar. Toss to coat evenly.
- Arrange the apple mixture on the pie crust.
- In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, remaining powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Pour the egg mixture over the apples evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the apples are tender and the crust is golden.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
Serve warm, at room temperature, or chilled. Pairs well with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
