Description

This delicious Banana Cake comes together in about 30 minutes and is baked right in a single pan for a quick and easy dessert that your family will love!


Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas (mashed)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Mash the bananas until smooth in a large bowl.
  3. Add the softened butter to the bananas and cream together until fluffy.
  4. Mix in the sugar until well combined.
  5. Add the eggs, one at a time, whisking until evenly mixed, then stir in vanilla extract.
  6. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  7. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients while stirring gently.
  8. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Let it cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
