Description

This delicious Lebanese Spicy Potatoes – Batata Harra comes together in about 30 minutes and is perfect for a quick weeknight dinner that your family will love!


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Potatoes (Yukon Gold or baby potatoes)
  • ¾ tsp Onion Powder
  • ¼ tsp Garlic Powder
  • ½ tsp Salt (adjust to taste)
  • ¼ tsp Black Pepper
  • ½ tsp Paprika
  • 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp Minced Garlic
  • ¼ tsp Cayenne Pepper (adjust for heat)
  • ½ cup Cilantro, chopped (or parsley)
  • 1 tsp Lemon Juice

Instructions

  1. Wash and peel the potatoes, then cut into bite-sized cubes (about 1 inch thick).
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add minced garlic to the hot oil and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).
  4. Stir in onion powder, cayenne, and paprika.
  5. Add potatoes, sprinkle with salt and black pepper, and cook for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Once potatoes are tender and golden, stir in chopped cilantro and lemon juice.
  7. Serve hot with optional lemon wedges on the side.

Notes

These potatoes can store in the fridge for 3-5 days in an airtight container. Best enjoyed fresh.
