Description

A no-cook wonder that makes for a quick and easy weeknight dinner that your family will love!

Ingredients

  • Rice Paper Wrappers
  • Lean Ground Beef or Turkey
  • Lettuce Leaves (e.g., romaine or iceberg)
  • Tomato, Diced
  • Cheddar Cheese, Shredded
  • Pickles, Sliced
  • Onion, Finely Chopped
  • Tangy Sauce (like Thousand Island Dressing)
  • Optional: Sesame Seeds for Garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add your lean ground beef or turkey. Season it with salt and pepper. Cook until browned and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Find a clean, flat surface to lay out your rice paper wrappers and have a shallow dish of warm water nearby.
  3. Take one rice paper wrapper and gently place it in the warm water for 10-15 seconds until pliable. Lay it flat on your clean surface.
  4. Start layering! Add cooked ground meat, lettuce leaf, diced tomato, shredded cheese, sliced pickles, and a pinch of onion.
  5. Drizzle a tablespoon of your tangy sauce on top.
  6. Fold in the sides of the wrapper, then roll tightly from the bottom up to enclose the filling.
  7. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and ingredients.
  8. Serve fresh, arranged on a plate with extra sauce on the side for dipping.
