Description

A delicious comfort food that’s quick and easy to prepare, perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 sheet of puff pastry
  • 150g camembert cheese, sliced
  • 100g cranberry sauce
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut out two circles, about 10 inches in diameter.
  3. Place one circle on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  4. Layer the slices of camembert and cranberry sauce in the center of the first pastry circle, leaving a 1-inch border.
  5. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Place the second pastry circle on top and seal the edges by pressing down with a fork.
  7. Brush the top with the beaten egg.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and puffed up.
  9. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

This dish can be customized with different cheeses or sauces. Serve with a green salad or crusty bread for a delicious meal.
