- 1 sheet of puff pastry
- 150g camembert cheese, sliced
- 100g cranberry sauce
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut out two circles, about 10 inches in diameter.
- Place one circle on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
- Layer the slices of camembert and cranberry sauce in the center of the first pastry circle, leaving a 1-inch border.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Place the second pastry circle on top and seal the edges by pressing down with a fork.
- Brush the top with the beaten egg.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and puffed up.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
