- 12 oz fresh cranberries
- 12 oz Sprite or 7Up soda
- 1 cup orange juice
- 4 cups powdered sugar
Instructions
- Rinse the cranberries under cold water and pick out any blemished ones.
- Soak the cranberries in soda for at least an hour, or overnight for stronger flavor.
- Drain the cranberries, leaving them glossy and wet.
- Toss the cranberries in a zip-top bag with powdered sugar until well coated.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lay the sugar-coated cranberries in a single layer. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Bake for about 5 minutes, keeping an eye on them.
- Let them cool completely, allowing the powdered sugar to turn into a crunchy shell.
