- 4 large eggs
- 1/2 cup cream cheese
- 1/4 cup grated cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
- Separate the egg whites and yolks into two bowls.
- In the bowl with the egg yolks, mix in the cream cheese and grated cheese until smooth.
- In the bowl with the egg whites, add the cream of tartar and whip until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold the egg whites into the cheese mixture.
- Spoon the mixture onto a lined baking sheet, forming small rounds.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the tops are golden.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
