- 1/2 cup grated mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons olive oil (plus extra for brushing)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix the dry ingredients: In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Add in the cheeses and wet ingredients: Incorporate mozzarella, Parmesan, milk, and olive oil; mix until a dough forms.
- Roll it out: Transfer the dough to a floured surface and roll it into a rectangle about 1/2 inch thick.
- Cut the dough into strips about 1 inch wide and 6 inches long.
- Prepare for baking by placing the strips on the baking sheet, leaving space between each stick.
- Add the flavor: Combine garlic powder, Italian herbs, and olive oil; brush over each breadstick.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Cool slightly before serving.
