- 1 pound breakfast sausage
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt

- 1 cup milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C), and line a muffin tin with paper liners or grease it lightly.
- Cook the sausage until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Mix the dry ingredients in a large bowl.
- Whisk the wet ingredients in a separate bowl.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients, stirring just until mixed.
- Add the cooked sausage and shredded cheese to the batter.
- Fill the muffin cups about 3/4 full with the batter.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool in the pan for 5-10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
