Description

A delightful cookie filled with sweet cherries and topped with a Hershey’s Kiss, perfect for family fun!


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup maraschino cherries, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Hershey’s Kisses, for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy (about 2-3 minutes).
  3. Gradually mix in the flour and salt until a soft dough forms.
  4. Stir in the chopped maraschino cherries and vanilla extract until well combined.
  5. Roll the dough into small balls (about the size of a tablespoon) and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  7. Press a Hershey’s Kiss into the center of each cookie immediately after baking.
  8. Allow to cool on a wire rack before serving.
