  • 12 oz Chocolate Melting Wafers
  • Sprinkles (for decoration)
  • 1/2 cup Salted Butter (softened to room temperature)
  • 8 oz Plain Cream Cheese (softened to room temperature)
  • 2 tsp Vanilla Extract

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Cake: Bake the chocolate cake mix according to package instructions.
  2. Cool Time: Let the cake cool completely in the pan before transferring it to a cooling rack.
  3. Make the Frosting: In a large mixing bowl, combine softened butter, cream cheese, vanilla extract, and one cup of powdered sugar; mix until smooth.
  4. Mix It Up: Add the remaining powdered sugar in increments, mixing thoroughly until creamy.
  5. Crumble the Cake: Crumble the cooled cake into a large mixing bowl.
  6. Combine: Add about 1 cup of frosting and mix well; adjust the frosting if the mixture is too crumbly.

  9. Stick it In: Dip cake pop sticks into melted chocolate and insert them into each ball.
  10. Chill Again: Return to the fridge while melting the chocolate wafers.
  11. Melt Away: Melt the chocolate wafers in a microwave-safe dish.
  12. Coat Those Pops: Dip each cake pop in the melted chocolate and let excess drip off.
  13. Sprinkle Time: Decorate with sprinkles before the chocolate hardens.
  14. Set & Enjoy: Let the cake pops set at room temperature or refrigerate to firm them up quicker.
