Instructions
- Mix the Yeast Mixture: In a large bowl, combine the warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until frothy.
- Stir in Wet Ingredients: Add the melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract. Stir until combined.
- Prepare Dry Ingredients: In another bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, and cinnamon. Gradually add this into the yeast mixture and stir until a soft dough forms.
- Knead the Dough: Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-10 minutes until smooth and slightly elastic.
- Let It Rise: Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Shape the Loaf: Punch down the risen dough, shape it into a loaf, and place it in a greased loaf pan.
- Brush with Egg Wash: Brush the loaf with the egg wash for a shiny finish.
- Bake It Up: Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
- Cool and Enjoy: Let cool for 10 minutes in the pan, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
