A quick and easy appetizer featuring layers of creamy brie and tart cranberries baked in a crusty bread, perfect for gatherings.

- 1 round artisan loaf of bread (sourdough or ciabatta preferred)
- 1 cup of brie cheese, cut into pieces
- 1 cup of fresh cranberries
- 1/4 cup of brown sugar
- 1/4 cup of chopped pecans
- 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1/4 cup of unsalted butter, melted
- Fresh herbs (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Carefully pull apart the round loaf of bread to create pockets without fully separating the pieces.
- In a bowl, toss together cranberries, brown sugar, chopped pecans, and cinnamon.
- Stuff the cranberry mixture and brie cheese into the pockets of the bread.
- Drizzle melted butter all over the loaf.
- Wrap the loaf in aluminum foil and bake for 20-25 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Let cool for a minute, then serve warm, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
Notes
You can prepare the bread a few hours in advance and bake it just before serving. This bread is best enjoyed warm.
