Description

A creamy and zesty chicken dish that comes together in about 30 minutes, perfect for a weeknight dinner your family will love.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 450 g boneless, skinless chicken breast
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon, zest and juice
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 225 g spaghetti
  • 250 ml heavy cream
  • Fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken with salt, pepper, and lemon zest.
  2. Cook the chicken in melted butter and olive oil over medium heat for 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
  3. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  4. Cook the minced garlic in the same skillet for about 1 minute.
  5. Make the sauce by adding heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and simmering.
  6. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions, reserving 1/2 cup of pasta water.
  7. Combine the chicken, lemon juice, and drained pasta into the sauce, adding reserved pasta water as needed.
  8. Serve topped with chopped parsley and extra Parmesan cheese.

Notes

This dish can be customized with any pasta or vegetables on hand. Leftovers keep well in the fridge for 3-4 days.
