Description

A quick and easy croissant sandwich that comes together in about 10 minutes, perfect for busy weeknight meals.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 Whole Croissants
  • 4 Slices Swiss or Cheddar Cheese
  • 8 Slices Deli Ham or Turkey
  • 4 Leaves Lettuce
  • 1 Medium Tomato, sliced
  • 2 tbsp Dijon Mustard
  • 2 tbsp Mayonnaise

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (about 180°C). Place the croissants on a baking sheet and warm them for about 5 minutes.
  2. Slice the warm croissants in half, lengthwise, carefully.
  3. Spread Dijon mustard and mayonnaise evenly on each cut side of the croissants.
  4. Layer the cheese slices against the cut sides of the croissants.
  5. Build the sandwich by layering on ham (or turkey), lettuce, and tomato slices.
  6. Close the croissant halves gently and consider cutting the sandwich diagonally.
  7. Serve immediately with a side of potato chips or a simple salad.
