- 4 Whole Croissants
- 4 Slices Swiss or Cheddar Cheese
- 8 Slices Deli Ham or Turkey
- 4 Leaves Lettuce
- 1 Medium Tomato, sliced
- 2 tbsp Dijon Mustard
- 2 tbsp Mayonnaise
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (about 180°C). Place the croissants on a baking sheet and warm them for about 5 minutes.
- Slice the warm croissants in half, lengthwise, carefully.
- Spread Dijon mustard and mayonnaise evenly on each cut side of the croissants.
- Layer the cheese slices against the cut sides of the croissants.
- Build the sandwich by layering on ham (or turkey), lettuce, and tomato slices.
- Close the croissant halves gently and consider cutting the sandwich diagonally.
- Serve immediately with a side of potato chips or a simple salad.
