Description

A classic and versatile appetizer that’s creamy, flavorful, and perfect for gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 large eggs
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Paprika for garnish
  • Chives for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Hard-boil the eggs by placing them in a pot, covering with water, bringing to a boil, then letting sit covered for 12 minutes.
  2. Transfer eggs to an ice bath for 5 minutes to cool.
  3. Peel the cooled eggs and cut them in half lengthwise, scooping out the yolks into a mixing bowl.
  4. Smash the yolks with a fork and mix in mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  5. Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg whites.
  6. Garnish with paprika and chives if desired, then serve chilled.

Notes

These Deviled Eggs are customizable; feel free to add leftover herbs, cheese, or bacon for extra flavor.
