- 6 large eggs
- 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Paprika for garnish
- Chives for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Hard-boil the eggs by placing them in a pot, covering with water, bringing to a boil, then letting sit covered for 12 minutes.
- Transfer eggs to an ice bath for 5 minutes to cool.
- Peel the cooled eggs and cut them in half lengthwise, scooping out the yolks into a mixing bowl.
- Smash the yolks with a fork and mix in mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg whites.
- Garnish with paprika and chives if desired, then serve chilled.
Notes
These Deviled Eggs are customizable; feel free to add leftover herbs, cheese, or bacon for extra flavor.
