- Pinch of cayenne (optional)
Instructions
- Toast the bread slices in a toaster until golden (about 3-4 minutes).
- Preheat your oven to 400°F.
- Beat the egg in a small bowl until fully combined.
- Mix in the grated cheese, herbs, salt, pepper, and cayenne.
- Spread the egg and cheese mixture evenly over the toasted bread.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until puffed and golden.
