Instructions
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium heat for 1-2 minutes until shimmering.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for 2-3 minutes until golden brown and fragrant.
- Introduce the cooked white rice to the pan, breaking up any clumps and folding it into the garlic mixture.
- Continue to stir the rice occasionally for another 2-3 minutes for even flavor distribution.
- Sprinkle in the salt and black pepper to taste.
- Increase heat to medium-high and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally to develop crispy bits.
- Remove from heat, garnish with green onions if desired, and serve hot.
Notes
