Ingredients
- Bone-in or Boneless Pork Chops (1-inch thick)
- Fresh Garlic (3-4 cloves, minced)
- Butter (2 tablespoons)
- Kosher Salt (to taste)
- Fresh Cracked Pepper (to taste)
- Olive Oil (for cooking)
- Fresh Parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add a splash of olive oil until it shimmers.
- Season the pork chops generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Place the pork chops in the hot skillet and sear for 4-5 minutes without moving them.
- Flip the pork chops and cook for another 4-5 minutes until they reach an internal temperature of 145°F.
- In the last minute of cooking, add butter and minced garlic to the skillet, spooning the melted garlic butter over the pork chops.
- Remove the pork chops from the skillet and let them rest for 5 minutes. Top with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
