Description

A delicious and quick weeknight meal that comes together in under 30 minutes, featuring juicy pork chops seared in a flavorful garlic butter sauce.

Ingredients

  • Bone-in or Boneless Pork Chops (1-inch thick)
  • Fresh Garlic (3-4 cloves, minced)
  • Butter (2 tablespoons)
  • Kosher Salt (to taste)
  • Fresh Cracked Pepper (to taste)
  • Olive Oil (for cooking)
  • Fresh Parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add a splash of olive oil until it shimmers.
  2. Season the pork chops generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
  3. Place the pork chops in the hot skillet and sear for 4-5 minutes without moving them.
  4. Flip the pork chops and cook for another 4-5 minutes until they reach an internal temperature of 145°F.
  5. In the last minute of cooking, add butter and minced garlic to the skillet, spooning the melted garlic butter over the pork chops.
  6. Remove the pork chops from the skillet and let them rest for 5 minutes. Top with freshly chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

Serve with roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a simple garden salad for a balanced meal.

Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days, or freeze for up to 3 months.
