This decadent Gordon Ramsay Chocolate Fondant is rich, gooey, and perfect for a quick weeknight dessert that your family will adore.

- 4 oz dark chocolate (70% cocoa), chopped
- ½ cup unsalted butter, plus extra for greasing
- 2 large eggs
- 2 egg yolks
- ⅓ cup granulated sugar
- ¼ cup all-purpose flour, sifted
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- ¼ tsp salt
- Cocoa powder (for dusting ramekins)
- Optional toppings: vanilla ice cream, powdered sugar, fresh berries, or chocolate shavings
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Grease your ramekins with extra butter and dust with cocoa powder.
- Melt the chocolate and butter together in a heatproof bowl over a double boiler or in the microwave.
- In a medium mixing bowl, beat the eggs, egg yolks, and granulated sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Stir in the vanilla extract and salt.
- Fold in the melted chocolate mixture gently.
- Sift in the flour and fold it into the mixture carefully.
- Divide the batter into the ramekins, filling them about ¾ full.
- Bake for 12-14 minutes until the edges are firm but the center is slightly jiggly.
- Let cool for 1 minute, then invert onto a plate and serve warm.
Notes
Try adding espresso powder or orange zest for unique flavors. Serve with vanilla ice cream or fresh berries for an exquisite dessert experience.
