Description

A flavorful turkey burger recipe that comes together in about 30 minutes, perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 450g ground turkey
  • 30g seasoned whole wheat breadcrumbs
  • 15g dried onion flakes
  • 15ml ketchup
  • 15ml mustard
  • 5ml Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 garlic clove, grated
  • 5g kosher salt
  • Olive oil spray
  • 4 burger buns
  • Toppings: cheese, tomato, onion, lettuce, pickles, ketchup, mustard, caramelized onions, avocado

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, onion flakes, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, grated garlic, and salt and pepper. Mix gently.
  2. Shape the mixture into 4 equal patties, about 3/4 inch thick.
  3. Chill patties in the fridge for 10-15 minutes.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium-low heat and spray with olive oil. Cook patties for 4-5 minutes on each side until reaching an internal temperature of 165°F.
  5. Toast burger buns on another skillet or oven until golden brown, about 1-2 minutes.
  6. Assemble the burgers with toppings on the toasted buns and serve.
