Description

A quick and easy recipe for delicious gyoza that the whole family will love. Perfect for busy weeknights!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 200g ground pork (or substitute with chicken or tofu)
  • 100g cabbage, finely chopped
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 pack gyoza wrappers
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together ground pork, cabbage, green onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, and sesame oil until well combined.
  2. Place a small spoonful of the filling onto the center of each gyoza wrapper and moisten the edges with water. Fold in half and pinch to seal.
  3. Heat a couple tablespoons of oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Arrange the gyoza in a single layer and fry for about 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Add a splash of water to the pan, cover, and steam for about 5 minutes. Remove the lid and cook for an additional 2 minutes to crisp up the bottoms.
  5. Serve hot with dipping sauces like soy sauce.
