Description

Delicious ham and cheese sticks made with crescent dough, perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 tubes crescent dough sheets
  • 1 pound deli-sliced ham
  • 8 cheddar cheese sticks
  • ¼ cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • ½ tablespoon dried minced onion or onion powder
  • ½ tablespoon poppy seeds

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a baking sheet or line it with parchment paper.
  3. Roll out your crescent dough sheets and cut each into 4 pieces.
  4. Distribute the ham evenly on each dough piece, then add a cheese stick on top of the ham.
  5. Fold in the ends of each piece and roll it up tight to seal the cheese inside.
  6. Transfer the sticks onto the prepared baking sheet.
  7. In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, onion powder, and poppy seeds.
  8. Brush this mixture over each stick.
  9. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  10. Enjoy warm!

Notes

These sticks can be stored in the fridge for up to three days. Reheat in a toaster oven or conventional oven to avoid sogginess.
