- 1 pound ground beef
- ½ pound beef sausage
- 1 cup pepperoni slices
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Optional: Pizza sauce
- Optional: Shredded mozzarella or provolone cheese
- Optional: Pie crust or pizza dough
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and beef sausage together until browned. Drain any excess grease.
- Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook for 3–4 minutes until softened.
- Stir in Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Add the pepperoni slices and cook for 1–2 minutes.
- Line your deep pie dish with crust (if using). Spoon the meat mixture into the crust, top with pizza sauce and cheese, and cover with a second crust if desired.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let the pie rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
For a flakier crust, use cold butter. For gluten-free, use gluten-free pizza dough.
