Description
This incredibly easy Korean Pork Belly comes together in about 45 minutes and is roasted to perfection for a quick and satisfying weeknight meal.
Ingredients

- 2 lbs pork belly
- 2 tablespoons gochugaru (Korean red pepper flakes)
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1-inch piece of ginger, grated
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped green onions for garnish
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, combine gochugaru, soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and a couple pinches of salt and pepper, whisking until well combined.
- Score the skin of the pork belly in a crisscross pattern and rub the marinade all over the pork.
- Place the pork belly on a baking tray lined with foil and roast for 45 minutes, basting halfway through.
- Let the pork rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
- Serve sliced, garnished with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
