Description

Ingredients

  • 8 cups chopped Romaine Lettuce
  • 1 medium Shallot, thinly sliced
  • ½ cup Parmesan Cheese, grated or shaved
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice
  • ¼ cup Extra-Virgin Olive Oil
  • Pinches of Salt
  • Pinches of Pepper

Instructions

  1. Chop the romaine lettuce and place it in a large bowl. (About 3 minutes.)
  2. Thinly slice the shallot and add it to the bowl. (2-3 minutes.)
  3. Grate or shave the Parmesan cheese and add it to the salad. (2 minutes max.)
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper to prepare the dressing. (2 minutes.)
  5. Drizzle the dressing over the salad and gently toss everything together. (About 2 minutes.)
  6. Serve immediately for the best freshness and texture. (Optional: Add lemon zest on top before serving.)

Notes
