- 10g Salt
Instructions
- Mix the bread flour and water in a large bowl until just combined.
- Add the sourdough starter and salt, then knead the dough until smooth and elastic (about 5-10 minutes).
- Let it rest covered for about 4 hours, folding every 30 minutes for the first hour.
- Shape the dough into a round loaf and place it in a floured proofing basket.
- Let it rise for 2 hours at room temperature.
- Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C) with a Dutch oven inside.
- Bake the dough in the preheated Dutch oven for 30 minutes. Remove the lid and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes.
- Cool before slicing.
