These juicy Middle Eastern kebabs are quick to prepare and perfect for a weeknight dinner your family will love!
Ingredients

- 1 pound Ground Beef (80 lean / 20 fat)
- 1 pound Ground Lamb (optional)
- ½ bunch Parsley, finely chopped
- 4 Garlic Cloves, minced
- ½ Yellow Onion, roughly chopped
- 1 tablespoon Garlic Powder
- 1 tablespoon Onion Powder
- 1 tablespoon 7 spices
- ½ tablespoon Coriander Powder
- 1 tablespoon Sumac
- ½ tablespoon Aleppo Pepper
- ¼ tablespoon Black Pepper
- 2–3 teaspoons Salt (or to taste)
- ½ teaspoon Baking Soda
Instructions
- Finely chop parsley and garlic, or use a food processor.
- Roughly chop the onion and extract juice using a paper towel.
- In a bowl, mix ground beef, ground lamb (if using), parsley, garlic, and onion juice.
- Add garlic powder, onion powder, 7 spices, coriander powder, sumac, Aleppo pepper, black pepper, salt, and baking soda to the meat mixture. Blend until moist but not wet.
- Cover and refrigerate for 45 minutes.
- Shape the mixture around skewers and preheat the grill to medium-low heat.
- Grill kebabs for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until cooked through.
- Optional: Brush with melted butter or ghee before grilling.
- Serve hot with dips, salads, or in pita.
Notes
Customize by swapping meats and spices. Great for meal prep—freeze shaped kebabs for up to 3 months.
