Description
This easy mustard chicken comes together in about 30 minutes and is cooked all in one pan for a quick and delicious weeknight dinner.

- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons whole grain mustard
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Rice or vegetables (optional)
Instructions
- Heat up the pan: Grab a large skillet and heat about a tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat.
- Season the chicken breasts with a couple pinches of salt and pepper.
- Cook the chicken in the hot pan for about 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken and let it rest.
- Make the sauce by combining the mustard and cream in a bowl, stirring until mixed well.
- Add the mustard mixture to the same pan, scraping up any bits from the bottom. Bring to a simmer.
- Return the chicken to the pan, cooking everything together until the sauce is warm.
- Serve the chicken plated with the sauce drizzled on top, optionally with rice or vegetables.
