Ingredients
Scale
- 1 ½ cups Oreo cookies
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 8 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips (or preferred chocolate)
- Sprinkles (optional)
Instructions
- Crush the Oreo cookies in a zip-top bag or food processor until fine crumbs form.
- Mix the crushed Oreo cookie crumbs with softened cream cheese until smooth.
- Roll the mixture into balls, about the size of golf balls, and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Freeze the balls for about 30 minutes to firm up.
- Melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
- Dip each ball into the melted chocolate, coating completely, and scrape off excess.
- Place back on the baking sheet and add sprinkles if using.
- Let them sit at room temperature until the chocolate sets, about 20-30 minutes.
Notes
These balls can be customized with different Oreo flavors or add-ins like peanut butter. They store well in the fridge for about a week or can be frozen for a month.
