- 1 cup warm water
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, room temperature
- 3 cloves minced garlic (or garlic salt)
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley (or 2 teaspoons fresh parsley)
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Marinara sauce, for dipping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a large baking sheet.
- Make the dough by mixing flour, water, yeast, olive oil, and salt. Knead for 5-7 minutes and let rise until doubled, about 30-90 minutes.
- Cut the dough into 1-inch pieces and transfer to the baking sheet.
- Arrange the dough pieces, cover with a towel, and let them rest for 30 minutes.
- Prepare the garlic butter by mixing butter, minced garlic, salt, Italian seasoning, and parsley until creamy.
- Bake the dough bites for about 20 minutes until golden brown, brushing with garlic butter during baking.
- Top with remaining garlic butter and sprinkle with grated Parmesan.
- Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.
