Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
- Sift together almond flour and powdered sugar into a mixing bowl.
- Whip egg whites and cream of tartar until foamy; gradually add granulated sugar until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold in the almond flour mixture and pumpkin spice.
- Pipe small circles onto a lined baking sheet, spacing them about an inch apart.
- Let them sit for about 30 minutes to develop a glossy top.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until firm, then cool completely.
- Beat butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth for the filling.
- Pipe the filling onto half of the cooled macarons and sandwich them.
Notes
