- 10 pieces rice paper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- ½ teaspoon dark miso
- 6 tablespoons tamari or soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon liquid smoke
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F.
- Prepare two baking trays lined with parchment paper.
- Mix the marinade: In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, maple syrup, dark miso, tamari, garlic powder, and liquid smoke.
- Soak two pieces of rice paper under lukewarm water until pliable.
- Cut the softened rice paper into strips about 2 inches wide and 6 inches long.
- Marinate each strip in the marinade, coating both sides.
- Arrange the marinated strips on the baking sheets without overlapping.
- Bake for 7-8 minutes, watching closely to prevent burning.
- Serve and enjoy warm or cold!
