Ingredients

  • 4 medium sweet potatoes (about 1.5 lbs), peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup dark brown sugar
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish with butter.

  7. Remove the foil and return the dish to the oven for an additional 15 minutes to allow the top to caramelize.
