This delicious Quick and Easy Shirred Eggs recipe is baked in one ramekin and ready in just 15 minutes, making it a perfect family breakfast.

- 1/4 teaspoon unsalted butter
- 2 teaspoons heavy cream
- 2 large eggs
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon minced fresh chives (optional)
- 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese (or any cheese of your choice)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F.
- Grease a 6-ounce ramekin with unsalted butter.
- Pour the heavy cream into the bottom of the greased ramekin.
- Gently crack the eggs on top of the cream.
- Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
- Sprinkle the minced chives and grated Parmesan cheese over the top.
- Place the ramekin on a baking sheet and carefully pop it in the oven.
- Bake until the egg whites are set but the yolks are still runny, about 12 to 15 minutes.
- Let the ramekin cool for a minute before serving.
