Ingredients

  • 2 pounds pork shoulder
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks (fresh or canned)
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Cooked rice for serving

Instructions

  1. Place the pork shoulder in the slow cooker.
  2. In a bowl, mix the pineapple chunks, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, onion, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour the mixture over the pork.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or until the pork is tender.
  5. Shred the pork with two forks and mix it with the sauce.
