Description

A quick and flavorful meal that combines tender beef and wide rice noodles in a sticky, savory sauce, all cooked in one pot!


Ingredients

  • 8 oz wide rice noodles
  • 1 lb beef (sliced thinly)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 green onions (sliced)
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the rice noodles according to the package instructions for 3-5 minutes, then drain and set them aside.
  2. In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, sugar, and cornstarch until well combined.
  3. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the vegetable oil and sauté minced garlic for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add the thinly sliced beef to the pan and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally until browned and cooked through.
  5. Pour in the sauce mixture and bring to a simmer, cooking for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  6. Add the cooked rice noodles to the skillet, stirring until well coated in the sauce.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes
