Instructions
- Cook the sago pearls: Bring a pot of water to a rolling boil. Toss in the sago pearls and let them cook for about 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Drain and rinse under cold water.
- Make the creamy coconut base: In a bowl, mix the coconut milk with sugar (if using) and whisk until smooth.
- Layer the dessert: In serving glasses or bowls, layer the cooked sago pearls, followed by the chopped strawberries, and add coconut jelly if desired.
- Pour on the matcha milk over the layers.
