Homemade version of Taco Bell’s Nacho Fries, quick and perfect for weeknight meals, customizable with toppings.
Ingredients

- 2 teaspoons Salt
- 2 tablespoons Paprika
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 2 teaspoons Chili Powder
- 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper (Optional)
- 16 slices American Cheese
- 1/4 cup Milk
- 1 tablespoon Liquid from the Jar of Jalapeño Slices
- 1 pound Ore-Ida Extra Crispy Frozen Fast Food Fries
- Vegetable Oil for Frying
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix salt, paprika, garlic powder, chili powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper until well combined.
- Fill a heavy-bottomed saucepan with vegetable oil and heat to 350°F (180°C).
- Fry the frozen fries for about 6 to 8 minutes until golden brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels.
- Melt cheese slices in a microwave-safe bowl with milk and jalapeño juice in intervals until creamy.
- Toss the fries with the seasoning mixture in a large bowl until coated.
- Serve with cheese sauce and optional jalapeño slices on top.
Notes
Customize toppings like sour cream or guacamole. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
