Ingredients

- 2 cups long-grain or jasmine rice
- 4 cups chicken broth (or vegetable broth for vegetarian version)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the diced onion and garlic, sautéing until translucent (about 3-4 minutes).
- Stir in the rice and toast for 2-3 minutes.
- Pour in the chicken broth and add paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Bring to a boil, then cover and simmer for 18-20 minutes until the rice is cooked and broth is absorbed.
- Fluff with a fork and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
