- 2 large onions
- 4 cups water
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 tablespoon vegetable broth or seasoning
- 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions
- Bring 4 cups of water to a boil in a large pot. Add 1 tablespoon of salt and 1 tablespoon of vegetable broth.
- While waiting for the water to boil, cut the onions in half and then into quarters.
- Carefully add the onion pieces to the boiling water and cook for about 10-15 minutes or until tender.
- Drain the onions in a colander and place them in a serving dish.
- Drizzle with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, season with pepper, and garnish with fresh herbs.
- Serve warm alongside your favorite main dishes.
