Description

A delicious and quick weeknight meal featuring tender chicken marinated in a sweet and savory pineapple sauce, cooked to perfection in the air fryer.


Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Marinade: In a large bowl, combine your soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, minced ginger, and sesame oil. Stir until nicely mixed, about 1-2 minutes.
  2. Marinate the Chicken: Add the chicken and pineapple to the bowl, mixing until well coated. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat the Air Fryer: While marinating, preheat your air fryer to 360°F (180°C).
  4. Air Fry It: Once marinated, place the chicken and bell pepper in the air fryer basket, shaking off excess marinade. Air fry for 18-20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until cooked through.
  5. Serve and Garnish: Remove from the air fryer and sprinkle with green onions. Serve hot.
