Description

A fun and wholesome family snack that comes together in about 10 minutes and requires no cooking!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 taco-size flour tortilla (or gluten-free tortillas)
  • 1 ripe banana (peeled)
  • 3 tablespoons peanut butter (or other spreads like cream cheese or Nutella)
  • ½ cup chopped peanuts (or other nuts)
  • 2 strawberries (thinly sliced, for topping)
  • 2 tablespoons crushed freeze-dried strawberries (for topping)
  • 2 tablespoons shredded coconut (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Prep Your Tortilla: Lay one tortilla flat on a cutting board and spread 2 tablespoons of your chosen spread evenly over the top.
  2. Add the Banana: Place the banana at one end of the tortilla and roll it up snugly.
  3. Secure the Roll: Spread the remaining tablespoon of your chosen spread on top of the rolled tortilla.
  4. Top It Off: Sprinkle chopped peanuts, freeze-dried strawberries, or shredded coconut on top of the roll.
  5. Slice and Serve: Finally, slice the roll into 1-inch pieces and serve with chopsticks.

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh; leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 24 hours. Not recommended for freezing!
