Description

A fast and delicious no-bake treat made with bananas and walnuts, perfect for satisfying your sweet cravings in under 30 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 15.25 oz box of white cake mix (heat-treated)
  • 8 oz block of cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup crushed pineapple (very well drained)
  • ¾ cup chopped walnuts (or almonds/pecans)
  • 1 ripe banana (sliced)
  • 8 oz of white candy coating
  • ½ cup chocolate melting wafers
  • Rainbow sprinkles
  • Stemmed maraschino cherries (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare your work area: Start by lining a large cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix the base: In a medium bowl, cream together the cake mix, softened cream cheese, and vanilla extract until fully combined.
  3. Add the good stuff: Stir in the crushed pineapple, chopped walnuts, and banana slices until well mixed.
  4. Roll into balls: Using your hands, roll the mixture into 1 to 1.5-inch balls.
  5. Chill: Chill those truffle balls on the prepared sheet for about 60 minutes.
  6. Melt the coating: Melt the white candy coating in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring until smooth.
  7. Coat the truffles: Dip each chilled truffle into the melted candy coating and place them back on the parchment paper.
  8. Give them a cool down: Cool the coated truffles in the fridge for another 30 minutes.
  9. Add chocolate drizzle: Melt the chocolate wafers and drizzle over the coated truffles.
  10. Top it off: Sprinkle on some rainbow sprinkles and place a stemmed cherry on top before serving.
