Description

A quick and easy recipe for delicious cowboy baked beans made in one pot, perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

  • 2 cans of baked beans
  • 1 lb bacon, chopped
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup bell peppers, chopped (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Sauté the onion and bell peppers in the skillet for about 3-4 minutes until softened.
  3. Combine the baked beans, BBQ sauce, brown sugar, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and bacon mixture in a large bowl.
  4. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  5. Bake the bean mixture in a baking dish for 30-40 minutes until heated through and bubbly.
